Chess Scholars offers instruction to individuals and small groups at your location.

Our students, whose ratings range about 400 to 1800, are very active in tournaments, and often win prizes.

While the exact lesson format depends on the level and individual needs of the student, we always assign homework closely matching the classroom curriculum. Reviewing the homework at the beginning of each lesson, combined with the analysis of tournament games, enables our instructors to zero in on each student’s weakest areas, providing for their fastest improvement.
